This is a non-creepy organization for those who are into the social, psychological, and analytical aspects of people watching. Those who are looking to experience group psychology, write critiques, and delve into the culture of the University of Minnesota should look into this organization. Trust me, you'll see the world differently!
A Non-Profit, Non-Creepy Organization.
It's about the social, psychological, and analytical aspects of people watching. It's that simple.
About Us

Howdy! Welcome to the About Us portion of campuspeoplewatchers.org the website ran by the most ethically controversial student group on the University of Minnesota Campus! But for all you nay sayers out there that think this student organization is "creepy" or makes you feel "uncomfortable" know that article 1 section A of our constitution reads: "Campus People Watchers is a Non-Profit, Non-Creepy Organization." So ha, we aren't creepy! But what we are is an organization that knows how to have fun!

Every month we have one meeting where we plan out our three events for the month. We have two "fun" events, which are the events you usually will see on the home page of this website, and the "student group" events, which are the stories you will see if you click on the Student Organization Information page.

Our "fun" events can be anything from sitting on a bench and watching people, to going to our annual Mall of America scavenger hunt for people, or to making ourselves the objects of people watching. If you show up to our meeting you have a say in what we do and when we do it. It can't get much better than that can it?

Our "student group" events consist of us going to other student groups' events. We do this because Campus People Watchers wishes to provide a service for the University of Minnesota Campus, and that service is making sure that each student that is looking for a student group to join is able to find the most perfect student group for them. So how do we help? Well, after we attend another group's event we write a reflection on our experience and put it on our Student Organization Information page. This way you can see what we thought about the organization!

However, organization chairs, if you are reading this there is no need to fear! We here at Campus People Watchers are dedicated to ensuring that we do not hurt your organization in anyway, but merely to give an accurate description of what it is like to participate in your organization. We do show up randomly unless invited, and so if you have a specific time you would like us to watch your student organization please send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
